Good European goth band that apparently has been around for a while now; they have a new singer now, but the original girl is amazing. Let me know what you guys think.

Nightwish is an awesome gothic metal band, Tarja Tarunan was the original singer with more of an operatic style & Annette the new vocalist has more of a rock style. Both r good 2 me, my fave Nightwish songs would have 2 b Nemo w/ Tarja & Amaranth w/Annette!

I tend to like Tarja more, but "Bye Bye Beautiful" is an awesome song w-Anette. Did you ever hear their version of Phantom of the Opera? Outrageous. Tarja has a solo CD out now; YouTube has the video from the first song "I Walk Alone". She's something; if I am lucky enough to be reincarnated, I want to come back as her!!

Yeah she certainly has an awesome voice, haven't heard the Phantom of the Opera yet but I will check it out! Thnx 4 the heads up!

I like Leaves Eye, and I have heard a few from Epica. I really like Within Temptation, too. Nightwish is on tour this year and I would love to see them. In Flames is coming here to PA next week, but it is on a Thursday (my payday), so I can't take off, dammit!! :bounce: I am also a HUGE diehard fan of King Diamond (also on tour this year) and Mercyful Fate. Maybe I will post a King Diamond video???? :study: Sure, why not. I am getting good at this youtube thing finally!!

From what I've seen this band seems like a group of posers to me. I really like Goth music but this isn't my thing. :evil:

I luv King Diamond, especially w/ Mercyful Fate! 1 of the best live shows I've seen! They haven't been 2 Denver in quite some time tho, wish they'd come back soon! Just saw In Flames on the Gigantour w Megadeth,Children of Bodom, Job For A Cowboy & High on Fire who were very impressive!! Post the King Diamond & I'll definately watch!!
